Saint Clara, A young musician's journey from small stages to the Vig Festival

Vig Festival has always been known for giving space to both established bands and new talent, and this year was no exception. One of the most talked about and exciting artists who made their debut at the festival was Saint Clara. After her excellent concert, I sat down with her to talk about her experiences and her musical journey.

A big scene from the start

A tribute to Hugo Helmig

A special moment during Clara's concert was when she dedicated a song to Hugo Helmig, to whom Clara was related. I asked her about the meaning of the musical tribute number. Clara shared that it had been a difficult decision to include the number in her performance. She explained that it was a dark and sad number that could be difficult to sing at a festival where the atmosphere was festive and full of joy.

Nevertheless, Saint Clara chose to include the song to honor Hugo Helmig and keep his memory alive. She wanted the audience not to forget him and the sense of loss her family still carried.
