How to experience the AGF Gold Festival in Aarhus

AGF are Danish champions, and on Sunday all of Aarhus will gather to celebrate the gold. The last home game against Viborg has long been sold out.

If you're standing with an AGF shirt, a bottle of bubbly or just want to join in, there are plenty of places to find the atmosphere. You don't need a ticket to feel it. You just need to know where to go.

Bishop's Square from Sunday morning

It starts in the middle of the city.
Bispetorv by the Cathedral opens at 11:30 and keeps the party going until 4:30, and it's all free. It's not a big-screen event, but it's a prelude, and it's open to everyone.

• DJ Zanjani starts, and then there is a welcome and blessing by parish priest Henrik Grøndal Lund.
• The St. Clemens Boys' Choir sings, and Lærke Emilia performs "AGF took the victory home".
• Mark Schedler plays the biggest Bamse hits, and Thomas Helmig will stop by for a sing-along.
• Afterwards, DJ Zanjani & hypeman turn things up again and get the atmosphere ready for battle.

The Foodhall bank and the hot dog stand on the square will provide food. The square is not fenced, so just show up.

The match between AGF and Viborg kicks off at 6:00 PM in Ceres Park Vejlby.

Monday at City Hall Square

If you want to feel it all again, Rådhuspladsen is the place to be on Monday afternoon.
The players arrive around 4:15 p.m. and are greeted inside the city hall by Mayor Anders Winnerskjold and Councilman Jesper Kjeldsen.
At 17 p.m. they step out onto the balcony, and the space below is open to everyone.

See which streets are closed in connection with the celebration on Monday. The streets are expected to be closed from approximately 11 a.m. until midnight.
