About Aarhus Inside
Experience Aarhus from the inside
Aarhus Inside is the city's experience magazine and guide. We collect everything you can experience in Aarhus, from culture, nature and food experiences to communities, festivals and places with soul.
Our goal is simple: to make it easy and inspiring to experience Aarhus from the inside.
We don't write classic reviews. We tell stories. We capture the mood, meet the people behind it and take the reader right into the experience. The texts are written at eye level and with presence, so you don't just read about the city, but feel it.
Founded in 2019 by Christina Hazelden
Aarhus Inside was founded in 2019 by Christina Hazelden, who still owns and operates the platform today. With 15 years of experience in digital content development and SEO, Christina is both the editorial and technical engine behind AAI.
It started as a passion for telling stories about the city's hidden corners, places to experience and the people who create cultural life. Today, Aarhus Inside is the city's largest experience-based magazine with an audience that reaches far beyond the municipal borders.

The newsletter every Friday
Every Friday at 07 a.m., Aarhus Inside sends out a newsletter in both Danish and English. Here you will get the week's most important events, new articles and guides delivered directly to your inbox.
A medium that creates action
Aarhus Inside has a large and engaged audience. Our articles and guides are read, shared and actively used by people looking for concrete experiences.
When we tell a story or share an event, it creates both attention and action. Readers click through, buy tickets, visit the places, eat at the restaurants, and become part of the city's community.
This is also why many of Aarhus' largest cultural institutions and experience venues collaborate with us.
