NorthSide 2026 has startedThe clouds hung low over Eskelunden on Thursday afternoon. Not with torrential clouds, as DMI had initially promised, but still with the kind of clouds that made people stand a little longer by the window at home and check the weather forecast one more time,...
Who Killed Bambi?
Who Killed Bambi?
Are you ready for a musical experience that goes far beyond the ordinary? On June 18, the critically acclaimed string ensemble Who Killed Bambi invites you to a magnificent release concert in the Great Hall of the Danish Music Hall. Here you can experience how classical strings merge with some of Denmark's most distinctive voices in a tribute to their new album, Monument.
The evening is made for those of you who love when music fills the entire room. You can look forward to hearing Peter Sommer, Steffen Brandt, eee gee, Mattias Kolstrup, Kira Skov and Selina Gin unfold their songs in completely new, vibrant formats. It is a rare chance to experience these soloists in a close and present interaction with seven virtuoso string players, who balance perfectly between the fragile and the grand.
A total visual and auditory experience
It's not just your ears that will be pampered this evening. The artist group Vertigo has created a magical light scenography that is integrated into the music as an active, visual layer. Light and sound are intertwined into a total experience that extends the atmosphere of the music and gives the concert an extra dimension.
When the ensemble last visited Store Sal, it sparked a standing ovation and five stars in GAFFA. This release concert promises to be at least as intense and unforgettable. Bring your friends or a companion for a poetic evening, where Musikhuset Aarhus provides the most beautiful setting for world-class modern Danish music.
