After three sold-out concerts at Hotel Cecil and five stars at SPOT Festival, the Family is now ready to take the next step – and they are doing so in style. On Saturday, December 20, 2025, they will take over TRAIN in Aarhus with their grand, energetic and deeply groovy concert format.
Originally assembled as Benjamin Hav's regular backing band, Familien has created their very own musical universe since 2020. A universe full of sweaty horns, sharp dance steps, playful grooves and a very special community energy. There are no backtracks, no cheating - just pure, live music, delivered by some of the country's most skillful musicians.
GAFFA gave the concert at SPOT Festival five stars and called Familien “a perfect cocktail of musicality and presence.” The audience? They couldn’t stand still. And neither will you when they once again open the doors to their wild, warm and wonderfully well-played live universe – now in a larger setting.
Behind saxophones, drums, keys, guitar and vocals stands a strong team including Viggo Bandholm, ADL, Emil Falk, Bastian and Kristoffer Sjelberg, and many more. Together they create a musical fireworks display where you never know what will happen – but you know it will be good.
