USO takes over Train in Aarhus, and you can prepare for a blast of an evening when the Danish rap legend returns.
After more than 25 years of a hit catalog that has set parties ablaze across the country, the USO announced earlier this year that it was hanging up the microphone. But some are being called back – and the USO is ready to reclaim its throne.
“I left the game, but I couldn’t leave my place in history behind. A superhero doesn’t choose his battles,” he says. And that’s exactly why he’s back – with new energy, classic bangers and a stage performance that will make the roof rise.
Since his debut years, USO has been a pioneer on the Danish hip-hop scene. With hits like Momentet (feat. LOC), Ingen Diskussion, Klapper Af Den, Hey Shorty, Hvassådair and Ikk'å, he has left an indelible mark on Danish music. He was among the first to be nominated for the P3 Prize, and he made history as the first Danish rapper on an international hip-hop track (Worldwide Choppers with Busta Rhymes, Yelawolf and Tech N9ne, among others).
Now he's ready with a new chapter, a five-year plan, a united band and a set list packed with classics. USO is back, and Aarhus gets the honor of one of the first shows.
