Unwound at VoxHall: Noise, intensity and new beginnings
When Unwound hits VoxHall, it's not just a reunion - it's a resurrection. Born out of the 90s underground and Riot Grrrl wave, the band already set new standards for post-hardcore, no wave and noise rock back then. Now - after decades of dormancy - they're back. Sharper, darker and more uncompromising than ever.
Unwound is not a band you just listen to. You feel them. With edgy riffs, elastic basslines and drums that balance on the border between chaos and control, they create a sound universe that is both aggressive and atmospheric. It's music with a restless energy that pulls you in and refuses to let go.
After the restoration in 2022, Jared Warren (bass) and Scott Seckington (guitar/keys) have come on board, and the classic Unwound expression has been given new life. The upcoming concert in Aarhus will be a rare opportunity to experience one of the most iconic underground bands in live format – still with fire in their blood and something in their heart.
