On Friday, October 30, you can join us on an evening walk through the area around Moesgaard.
The approximately three-kilometer tour goes through the Manor Park, past the cemetery and further into the dark Ellesump. The path is lit only by bat lanterns, while the guide tells about ghosts, elf maidens and other legendary figures that have frightened and fascinated generations.
Along the way, you will also hear about superstitions and old customs, as well as how All Saints' Day has evolved from Celtic harvest festivals to Christian traditions and today's Halloween.
The route goes through hilly terrain and is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties or strollers. Wear warm clothes and practical footwear, and feel free to bring a seat pad.
