The University Park has a very special atmosphere on Midsummer's Eve. The soft light between the trees, the lake lying still, and a mix of students, neighbors and people from the city who have found their way up the hill. The Student Council is holding the traditional Midsummer's Eve party in the park again this year on Tuesday, June 23, and it is one of the evenings where the university and the rest of Aarhus come together.
It should also be noted that the University Park has one of the city's most beautiful settings for this particular evening. The hills provide a good view of the bonfire, and when darkness sets in around 22 p.m., the light from the fire lies beautifully between the buildings.
