Get ready for a weekend where curiosity is at the center. On August 22 and 23, 2026, the beautiful University Park in Aarhus will be transformed into PARK Knowledge Festival. It's a free outdoor festival that bridges the gap between hard science and vibrant culture. Here you can sit under the big treetops and learn about the biggest challenges of our time, while the country's brightest minds share their latest insights.
The program is packed with everything from deep conversations and lectures to concerts and literary features. You can look forward to meeting the popular radio and TV host, among other things. Mathias Hammer, who as emcee will control the proceedings on the Amphitheater stage and invite you to sing along. Musically, you can look forward to a reunion with the fantastic string ensemble Who Killed Bambi?, which will perform with well-known rhythmic soloists throughout the weekend. As a completely new feature this year, there will be a dedicated children's area where the youngest budding scientists can explore science through play and hands-on activities.
