On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the Pan African Festival (PANAFEST) invites the whole family to a colorful and sensual celebration of African culture in the heart of Aarhus. The festival takes place in the Botanical Garden and offers a full day of live music, drums, dance, DJ sets, African food, coffee and tea – as well as stalls filled with crafts and goods directly from the African continent.
PANAFEST is a unique, open platform for everyone with an interest in Africa's diversity - and an opportunity to experience rhythms, flavors and moods from across the continent in beautiful green surroundings.

Admission to the festival is free – but you can support by purchasing a support bracelet or merchandise at the venue. Food and drinks are not allowed, as all proceeds from the bar and food stalls go directly to paying the performing artists.
