On the occasion of his 20th anniversary as a writer and his 50th birthday, Morten Albæk invites you to a thoughtful, honest and close-to-life evening in Musikhuset Aarhus. With the lecture Eftertanker, he delves into themes such as love, regret, leadership, curiosity, parenthood and the meaning of it all. Along the way, he also invites special guests on stage – people he has met in his life and who have left their mark.
It will be an evening where experience turns into realization, and where the audience is invited into the reflections and outlook that have shaped one of Denmark's most read philosophical works of writing in the 21st century.
Albæk draws on both his own life and his career – from Danske Bank and Vestas to the founder of Voluntas – and not least his books such as Ét liv, én tid, ét menneske and Falske santheder i livet. With his characteristic language and his sharp eye for both the individual and the larger society, Eftertanker becomes an opportunity to take oneself and one's life seriously – without forgetting that it is still being lived, right now.
