Come to Moesgaard Viking Days and step into the world of the Vikings. Here you can experience exciting fighting shows where warriors fight with swords and axes, or see the beautiful Icelandic horses in action. You can try your hand at Viking activities such as archery, glima (Viking wrestling) and spear throwing, or learn more about Viking crafts, where you can mint your own coin, make beads, forge a Thor's hammer and dye textiles with plants.

For children and the childlike at heart, there are plenty of fun activities, such as fishing in the Viking ponds, archaeology in the adventure sandbox and playing in the Viking play area. Music and stories create an authentic atmosphere where you can listen to legends and sagas while you move around the market with craftsmen, stalls and food from the Viking era.

Moesgaard Viking Days is a unique experience for the whole family, where history comes alive and you yourself can take part in the everyday life of the Vikings.

Moesgaard Viking Days: July 24-27

Opening hours: The Viking camp is open every day from 10.00:17.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX.

Ticket prices:

• Adults: DKK 195.
• Children (3-17 years): 50 kr.
• Children under 3 years: Free

Important to know:

• Your ticket also gives you access to Moesgaard Museum on the same day, including the special exhibition Mother Earth.
• Remember to bring cash for the stalls – many do not take cards or MobilePay.
• The internet connection may be unstable - print or take a screenshot of your ticket.
• Wear practical clothes – we are in nature close to the beach.
• The parking lot is located a short distance from the site – it is a short walk through the forest or along the beach.
• Annual pass holders to Moesgaard receive a 50 kr. discount when purchasing tickets online.
• Companion cards are accepted – companions do not need to purchase a ticket in advance, but the card must be shown upon arrival.
