For the first time in Aarhus: Experience the organ legend behind Interstellar's iconic soundtrack – live in the Symphonic Hall

Get ready for a concert experience beyond the ordinary when world-famous organist Roger Sayer – known as The Interstellar Organist – visits Musikhuset with his critically acclaimed anniversary show Interstellar 10.

On the occasion of the film's 10th anniversary, Roger Sayer takes the stage behind the Symphonic Hall's large concert hall organ and conjures up moods that range from the deeply emotional to the magnificently galactic. The music from Christopher Nolan's sci-fi epic Interstellar is brought to life this evening in an intimate and sensual concert format, where both sound and visual impressions merge.

Sayer was Hans Zimmer's chosen organist when the film was created - and his unique playing and sound became the basis for the entire musical universe of the film. At the concert in Aarhus you will get the whole story: From his collaboration with Zimmer and Nolan to the musical journey into outer space.

The concert includes both classical works, images of the universe and a rare opportunity to get close to the musician behind the music, when Roger Sayer talks about the work behind the scenes and answers questions from the audience.

The climax of the evening will be his own version of the full Interstellar soundtrack – including Cornfield Chase, STAY and Day One.

Important: This is not a film concert with a screening of the film, but a concert and storytelling experience with Roger Sayer as a solo artist.
