When you step into Tangkrogen in the summer of 2026, it's like landing in the middle of a living Ramasjang world. Colorful tents, red bouncy castles and a jumble of happy children's voices create the setting for a completely unique day. Here you are not just a guest; you are a participant in a circus universe where play, movement and community merge under the open summer sky.
It's a really good idea to arrive early. Denmark's funniest circus venue opens two hours before the show starts. Here you and your children can chase letters, jump in the circus bed or let your creativity run wild in KREABIX, where you can build your own circus hats. There's water fun, mazes and plenty of space to just be a kid, whether you're running or using a wheelchair.
When the big red tent opens, magic awaits. Your heroes from DR Ramasjang are ready in the ring, no longer behind a screen, but alive and at full speed right in front of you. Look forward to experiencing Motor Mille, Rosa, Mr. Beard and Onkel Reje in a breathtaking show filled with dangerous magic, beautiful singing and acrobatics.
The music is provided live by the fantastic DR Big Band, who from their seat high under the tent control the atmosphere with a sure hand. It is festive, playful and full of jokes that will appeal to both children and adults. Here, imagination suddenly becomes reality in the scent of popcorn and sawdust.
Circus Summarum is more than just entertainment. It is a place where space is made for everyone, and where all activities are accessible regardless of disability. Perhaps the most beautiful thing about it all is the purpose: The profits from the performances go directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation's work for children and families with muscular dystrophy. By taking part in the party, you are helping to create something good for others.
