Have the kids outgrown their clothes, or does the toy inventory need replacing? On Sunday, May 24, Modelparken Danmark invites you to the first children's flea market of the year. It's one of the coziest days in the park, where the lawn is filled with used children's clothes, toys, bicycles and much more. There's plenty of opportunity to find unique recycled finds or clear out the storage at home.

As something special, it is quite free for individuals to participate as vendors. You just have to show up from 9:30 a.m. and find a good spot on the lawn with your own blanket, table or pavilion. There is no registration required – you just show up and spread out your things. While the shopping is buzzing, the popular mini trains run through the park as always, so breaks from the flea market can be spent on a fun ride on the rails.

Practical information

  • Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
  • Seller info: Free stand space for private individuals. Set up from 9:30 a.m. (bring your own table/carpet). No registration necessary.
  • Admission: Free admission to the park and flea market.
  • Train travel: Requires ticket (Single ticket 25 DKK / 6-trip package 110 DKK).
  • Weather guarantee: In case of rain, the flea market will move into the greenhouse.
  • Catering: The kiosk sells sausages, ice cream and coffee, and food brought along can be enjoyed at the park's tables and benches.

All proceeds from the day go directly to the operation and development of the Model Park, which is run by volunteers.
