The

Black Voices – A Tribute

Five of Denmark's strongest voices join forces to pay tribute to the black female icons who have shaped music history. Black Voices – A Tribute is a musical journey through time and genre, where pioneers of the past meet the voices of today – from Billie Holiday to Beyoncé, from Aretha Franklin to Natasja.

On stage are Caroline Henderson, Karen Mukupa, Nabiha, Iris Gold and Betty Bass – each with their own unique sound and charisma. Together they create a powerful concert experience that celebrates both the strength, vulnerability and community of black female musical heritage.

The audience can look forward to a new and updated version of the successful concert, which has previously played to sold-out venues across the country. This year, the concert offers a fresh set list and a visually strong stage show, where classics from Roberta Flack meet contemporary tunes from artists such as SZA.

As Politiken wrote:

“These are five extraordinarily well-mannered, talented women who pay tribute to their predecessors together and individually for full-blown performances.”

And GAFFA added:

“A tribute manifesto that invites everyone into seriousness and play.”

Look forward to an evening of soul, strength and magnificent vocal power in the Great Hall of the Music House.
