Experience a fallen angel's struggle for survival on earth in this magnificent and grotesque cabaret at Teater Katapult. You follow the character Babylon, a crazy and passionate figure who speaks to both heaven and you in the audience, as she tries to find her way in the confusing world of humans.
It is a musical journey through the difficult nature of love, the shadows of war and the eternal longing for freedom. The performance is built around iconic songs from the 30s and 40s by names such as Edith Piaf, PH and Brecht, delivered with a unique mix of humor, irony and deep seriousness.
The character Babylon is created by Søs Banke, who has been receiving rave reviews for her cabarets for the past 20 years. Look forward to being swept away by a performance that dares to be both ugly, beautiful and thoroughly human in the intimate setting of the Black Box.
