Come into the world of atoms and hear about the quantum computer

Join us on a fascinating journey into the technology of the future with Professor Klaus Mølmer

Have you ever wondered what a world where particles can be in multiple places at once would look like? Quantum physics describes a microscopic reality that goes against everything we know from our everyday lives.

The Åbyhøj power plant invites you to a captivating lecture, where one of the country's leading experts, Professor Klaus Mølmer, will give you a down-to-earth introduction to this marvelous science and its revolutionary future prospects.

At the center of the global technology race is the quantum computer, which uses atomic quantum states to perform complex calculations at a pace that will completely change our world.

Klaus Mølmer, who is currently a professor at the Niels Bohr Institute, will tell in this completely updated version of his popular lecture how far the researchers have come with the construction, and what the technology can actually be used for. In addition to his impressive scientific work, Klaus is known for communicating the complex material with great enthusiasm, humor and at eye level – so everyone can join in, regardless of whether you are a physics nerd or just curious.
