Gardener's Garden Djurs

At Gartnergården Djurs, a shopping trip can quickly turn into a small excursion. The place combines a farm shop, café, bakery, cheese factory and drive-in, and outside there is a large area with pet animals. Here you can fill your bags with good produce, have lunch and let the children say hello to the farm animals.

Kalø Organic Farm Shop
Molsvej 38, 8410 Rønde
Kalø Organic Farm Shop is located at Kalø Agricultural School and follows the seasons of the year. In the shop you will find, among other things, fresh vegetables, meat, bread, apple juice and delicacies. Some come from the school's own production, while the rest is supplied by other organic producers from the local area.
The Farmers' Guild Farm Shop
Havnevej 1, 8400 Ebeltoft
The Farmers' Guild Farm Shop brings together products from a number of small producers in Djursland. Here you can explore vegetables, eggs, honey, mushrooms and other local products that change with the season and the producers. The shop makes it easier to shop from several local farmers at once, without having to visit each individual farm.

Butcher Lund Farm Shop
Herstvej 88, Grundfør, 8382 Hinnerup
At Slagter Lund, the butcher's trade fills the counter. The farm shop has, among other things, homemade barbecue sausages, cured sausages, bacon, hamburger backs and various cuts of meat. The production is based on old South Jutland recipes, and much is made and smoked on site.

Lading Mejeri is the place for those who want to take something good home for the cheese table. The store has a large selection of Danish and foreign cheeses as well as wine, sausages and accessories. Here you can get help finding the right cheese or putting together a selection for dinner, the weekend or a special occasion.

The stop near the town in Egå
Rishøjgård is close enough to Aarhus that you can visit after work or combine the visit with other shopping. Here, the farm shop is primarily a place where you can get local produce to take home without having to set aside a whole day.
Turn your shopping trip into an excursion
If you want to get a little more out of your trip, Gartnergården Djurs is an obvious choice. Here you can combine a visit to the farm shop with a café, bakery, cheese shop and petting zoo.
The trip to Rønde can also be combined with a visit to Kalø Organic Farm Shop and a walk by Kalø Castle Ruins. If you continue on to Ebeltoft, you can visit Bondelaugets Farm Shop and at the same time have a walk through the town or along the harbor.
